Roulette: Odds and Payouts
Roulette is one of the most famous and popular casino games. Its main goal is to predict which number or color the spinning wheel with the ball will land on. The odds in roulette are also very important because they determine the probability of winning and the size of the payout.
Odds in roulette are more than just a list of numbers showing different bets and payouts. They are crucial to your playing strategy because they allow you to assess the risks and make more informed decisions. Odds can vary significantly depending on the type of bet, for example, on a single number, a group of numbers, or a color.

At the same time, other elements of the game must be taken into account. For example, there are European, American, and French roulette. Each of these versions has its own rules and odds.
The odds in roulette depend on the type of bet. How high are the chances of winning on each bet? The payout is proportional to the odds.
As a rule, odds are presented as ratios, such as “2:1,” which means “two to one,” or “35:1,” which means “thirty-five to one.” The winning multiplier is indicated by the first number in this ratio, and the bet is indicated by the second number. This means that with odds of 2:1, the payout on a winning bet of €2 will be €4, and with odds of 35:1, you will receive €70 on a similar bet of €2.
In addition, it is important to remember that if you win, your bet is not lost; instead, it will be added to the payout. For example, with odds of 2:1, the payout on a winning bet of €2 will be €4, but only €6 will be returned to your account (€4 winnings + €2 bet)..

- A street is a bet on three numbers, for which it is enough to place a chip at the end of the row. The payout is 11:1.
- A corner is a bet on four numbers, in which the chip is placed at the center of the intersection of these numbers. The payout is 8:1.
